1. Aims

Introduce the idea of generalisation, adapting a solution that worked for one problem to solve another. Remind pupils of how they used selection within a loop to check if the slug was touching a colour in the slug trail game. You might want to open that planning and draw out where that was. Explain that in this module they are going to adapt this solution to work in a similar but different way.

Precondition

It helps to have used selection in the quiz and the slug trail game before using this module.
